Lee Waldrep was born and raised in Anderson, SC. He moved to Charleston, SC, receiving an undergraduate degree in marine biology from the College of Charleston. Upon completion of his master’s degree in documentary film at the University of Florida, he has directed documentary and narrative work shown on PBS and film festivals nationwide. Currently he divides his time between commercial work, independent documentary, and fictional films.
